An opportunity is available for an experienced Enterprise Operating Model Lead to support a newly established division within a large public-sector organisation delivering major infrastructure projects across the State.
This temporary role will play a critical part in reviewing, designing and embedding enterprise-wide systems, processes and controls within a complex, high‑value infrastructure delivery environment. The engagement is expected to commence as soon as possible and will run for up to 12 months.
About the Role
Reporting into senior leadership and working closely with internal stakeholders, you will lead the review and implementation of end‑to‑end business processes to support effective, consistent and scalable ways of working. You will partner with executives and frontline teams to drive sustainable change and operational improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and map end‑to‑end business processes using structured methodologies such as SIPOC and MOS to clearly document current‑state operations.
- Design and implement enterprise frameworks, guidelines, procedures, work instructions and tools to support improved ways of working.
- Establish and embed appropriate controls across key risk areas, including contract management, financial management, and program and project delivery.
- Drive change initiatives by working closely with executive leaders and engaging frontline teams to ensure successful adoption.
- Support the development of consistent enterprise operating practices within a major infrastructure delivery context.
You are a highly experienced professional with a strong background in enterprise operations, program management and large-scale infrastructure environments. You are comfortable operating at executive level while also engaging effectively with frontline teams to deliver practical and sustainable outcomes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing end‑to‑end business operating models, working with both executives and frontline teams.
- Proven experience establishing enterprise-level management systems, operating procedures and governance frameworks in a large or complex infrastructure delivery environment.
- Strong program management experience, ideally within a government or public-sector setting.
- Ability to lead change initiatives and embed new processes in fast‑paced and evolving environments.
- Temporary contract, up to 12 months
- Commencement required as soon as possible
