EHS Compliance Advisor – Contract Role | Wagerup

Contract: 3–5 months
Rate:$49/hr + super
Location:   Wagerup, WA
Potential extension depending on internal secondment

We’re seeking an experienced EHS Compliance Advisor to support a major industrial operation in Wagerup, located near Waroona and Harvey in WA’s Peel/South-West region. This short‑term opportunity is ideal for a Health & Safety professional with strong compliance knowledge and exceptional attention to detail.

As the site’s EHS Compliance Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely DMIRS reporting, maintaining WHS compliance, and supporting the Health & Safety Manager with critical safety processes. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys structured work, legislative interpretation and being a central point of coordination for safety systems and statutory requirements.

What you'll bring

• Cert IV in WHS (or working towards)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Safety
• Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Suite and database systems
• High attention to detail, confidentiality and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage confidential incident and injury reporting to DMIRS via SRS.
• Prepare quarterly compliance reports and liaise with regulatory bodies.
• Maintain statutory records, safety data and site-based safety documentation.
• Coordinate Safety Representatives and statutory appointments.
• Support site audits, corrective actions and safety recognition programs.
• Administer safety systems including Sphera and CCFV.
• Issue Safety Alerts and provide ongoing support to the H&S team.
