Dump Truck Operator – Bowen Basin QLD

We are seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for an open‑cut coal mine in the Bowen Basin, Queensland. This is a great opportunity for operators looking for consistent work, strong hourly rates, and a 7/7 lifestyle roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating CAT 793 and CAT 797 rigid haul trucks
• Open‑cut coal and prestrip operations
• Working under excavators, shovels, loaders, and scrapers
• Following site HSE, SOPs, and safety systems
• Meeting production targets in a high‑volume mining environment

Roster & Site Details

• 7/7 rotating Day/Night roster (Thursday to Wednesday)
• DIDO / BIBO / Local applicants only – Limited  FIFO capcity available! 
• Bowen Basin QLD
• Accommodation, meals, and PPE supplied
• Long‑term ongoing casual role

Pay & Benefits

• $80.75 per hour casual (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
• Immediate start available
• Well‑established site with strong safety culture
• Excellent work/life balance roster

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in open‑cut coal mining (QLD)
• Proven operation of CAT 793 dump trucks (CAT 797 highly regarded)
• RIIMPO338D – Conduct Rigid Haul Truck Operations
• Experience working under shovel / excavator / loader
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• Standard 11 (Statement of Attainment) -   Preferred 
• Current Coal Board Medical - Preferred 
• Signed training transcripts showing machine hours
• Full Australian working rights
