We are seeking a confident and customer-focused Customer Relations Officer to join a fast-paced team within a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on communication, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality service to the general public.

About the Role
This role is primarily phone and email-based, managing a high volume of enquiries from the public. You will be responsible for handling feedback, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive customer experience across all interactions.
The position will commence full-time onsite for training, before transitioning to a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound enquiries via phone and email in a high-volume environment
  • Respond to customer feedback and complaints with professionalism and empathy
  • Provide accurate information and support to members of the public
  • Liaise with a broad range of internal stakeholders to resolve enquiries
  • Navigate multiple systems efficiently to capture and update information
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all interactions
About You
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume customer service environment
  • Background in complaints handling or customer feedback is highly regarded
  • Previous experience within State Government is desirable
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
  • Comfortable engaging with a wide range of internal stakeholders
  • Positive attitude and a proactive approach to work
  • Confident navigating multiple systems simultaneously
