We’re seeking a committed Cultural and Pathways Governance Coordinator for a 6 month full time temporary role based in Canberra, to support cultural governance, strengthen community partnerships, and assist key projects benefiting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

This Identified Position is open only to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants under Special Measures in the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth)

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare briefs, ministerial submissions, and cultural project materials
  • Support cultural governance processes, documentation, and workflows
  • Build strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders
  • Coordinate agendas, minutes, and follow‑ups
  • Assist with financial admin and project support duties
About You
  • Strong communication skills and experience producing high‑quality briefs
  • Ability to work respectfully with community and stakeholders
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of governance, compliance, and Indigenous engagement
  • Commitment to culturally safe and respectful work practices
