Our Tier 1 client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to spearhead the delivery of a transformative 440 MW solar farm. In this site-based position, you'll oversee all on-site construction activities, manage contractor performance, and ensure our project is delivered safely, on time, and within scope. Your leadership will be instrumental in coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural works, fostering a safety-first culture, and maintaining high quality standards. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, support project commissioning, and contribute to the commitment to green energy and sustainability.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or senior construction leader on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex contractor teams across multiple disciplines.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality assurance, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to effectively oversee budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Experience working in remote or FIFO environments is highly regarded.
- Prior experience managing solar farm construction projects.
- Knowledge of decarbonisation and renewable energy initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant construction management experience, preferably in renewable energy or large infrastructure projects.
- FIFO roster of 2:1, based in the Pilbara region.
- Site-based role with an initial 12-month contract, likely extension for ongoing projects.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary certifications and compliance documentation for site access and safety.
