About the role
Our mining producer client (silver & lead) has two x Civil Construction Supervisory roles to support the execution of a Capital project at their remote magnesite located in North Western Queensland. It will involve a tailings dam raise storage facility with booster pump station. Execution of tollgate is projected in mid-April with the team to be on-site early May through until a projected end date of February 2027.
What Will You Be Doing?
As Civil Construction Supervisor, you manage the civil and smaller mechanical / electrical packages as the owner’s representative, responsible for:
- Oversee all construction activities on the mine site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule construction activities to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Supervise and manage on-site construction personnel and subcontractors.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
- Monitor and address any environmental concerns or compliance issues related to construction activities.
- Excellent rates | all hours worked paid as approved
- 8 -9 month temp contract
- 8:6 roster | POH: ex-Brisbane or Townsville only
- Great camp vibe | pool, gym, tennis court, basketball court, and even an oval for a bit of footy or cricket | good wet mess/bar and basic shop

What Skill Set Do I Require?
- Operator background with 5 years Civil Construction Supervisory experience
- Certificate III in Civil Construction
- Must have experience in mining and with civil construction projects, preferably tailings dams
- Can do attitudes, committed to contributing & maintaining a safe working environment.
- Must possess excellent communication skills to relate well with the workforce.
