About the Roles

We are seeking a high-calibre change and project professionals on inital 3 month contracats to support and deliver a significant, organisation‑wide transformation program within a government environment. This role offers the opportunity to work at the centre of a complex reform agenda, partnering closely with executives, senior leaders and key stakeholders to ensure change initiatives are effectively designed, coordinated and embedded.

Depending on skills and experience, the role will operate at either a Level 6 or Level 7, with corresponding scope, autonomy and leadership expectations.

Key Responsibilities

At Level 6, you will:

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of integrated change and project activities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Support or lead end‑to‑end change and project planning, including schedules, risks, dependencies, benefits and reporting.
  • Develop high‑quality briefings, business cases, submissions and other written materials for senior executives and governance forums.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement, communications and consultation activities to support adoption of change.
  • Translate strategic direction into practical, measurable plans and outcomes.
  • Monitor progress, track benefits realisation, and contribute to continuous improvement of change and delivery practices.
At Level 7, the role will additionally:
  • Lead complex change streams or projects within a broader transformation program.
  • Design and implement fit‑for‑purpose change strategies, including communications, engagement, capability and readiness activities.
  • Provide authoritative advice to executives on change impacts, risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Build organisational change capability and support leaders to role‑model and embed change.
About You

You are a motivated and adaptable professional with demonstrated experience delivering complex work in a public sector setting. You will bring:
  • Proven experience in change management and/or project delivery within government or large, complex organisations.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Highly developed written communication skills, including experience preparing executive‑level documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence at multiple levels.
  • For Level 7 consideration, extensive experience leading organisational change initiatives and working directly with senior executives.
