As a Business Process & Enablement Specialist, you will design and embed sector-aligned business process frameworks that support the successful transition to, adoption of, and ongoing effective use of Aurion. This role combines deep payroll and HR process expertise with strong consulting and enablement capability. You will translate complex, real-world HR and payroll operations into clear, scalable, and repeatable future-state processes aligned to Aurion capability. Initially focused on the education sector, you will establish foundational process frameworks and enablement assets that improve readiness, strengthen delivery consistency, and support accurate, compliant payroll outcomes, with scope to extend across additional industries over time.

Key responsibilities
Business process design & advisory
  • Design, build, and maintain sector-aligned business process frameworks, initially focused on education
  • Analyse HR, payroll, rostering, and compliance processes and translate them into future-state workflows aligned to Aurion capability
  • Define process roles, responsibilities, governance checkpoints, and operational controls to support accurate and compliant payroll outcomes
  • Ensure process designs align with legislative, award, and EA requirements, as well as industry best practice
Process artefacts & enablement
  • Develop clear, reusable artefacts including workflow diagrams, templates, checklists, decision pathways, playbooks, and operational guidance
  • Create business process testing artefacts and acceptance criteria aligned to designed processes
  • Ensure artefacts are practical, scalable, and consistently applied across implementations
Customer readiness & adoption
  • Support transition and adoption by clearly articulating process impacts and operational requirements
  • Identify business personas and operational roles to inform tailored enablement pathways
  • Provide coaching and guided support during implementations to reinforce best-practice process application
Delivery collaboration & engagement
  • Act as a trusted process advisor across the implementation lifecycle
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops to validate needs and design future-ready processes
  • Collaborate with delivery leads, consulting SMEs, and product owners to ensure alignment between process design, system behaviour, and sector requirements
  • Provide expert guidance to support compliant operations and sustainable payroll outcomes
Internal enablement & continuous improvement
  • Equip internal teams with frameworks, tools, and guidance to apply processes consistently
  • Deliver training, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing sessions across consulting and delivery teams
  • Mentor consultants on sector-specific nuances and best-practice process design
  • Continuously refine frameworks based on delivery insights, regulatory changes, and sector trends
