We are seeking the services of an experienced Trade Qualified Boilermaker Welder/or Mechanical Fitter to join Our Dynamic Maintenance Team

Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for ensuring smooth operations and maintaining critical infrastructure? We are seeking a highly skilled Maintainer to play a vital role in supporting our offshore port facilities. This opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding environment where your expertise will contribute directly to the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our operations.

What You’ll Do:

You will be an essential part of our Dampier Shut Maintenance Team, conducting routine offline inspections, planned shutdown activities, and maintenance across Parker Point and East Intercourse Ports. You will work on a 5/5/4 residential roster, reporting directly to the Shutdown Maintenance Supervisor. Your responsibilities include executing mechanical maintenance tasks safely, identifying faults during plant inspections, raising notifications in SAP, isolating equipment for maintenance, and completing quality handovers with your team. You will coordinate closely with maintenance teams, shutdown coordinators, and isolation officers to ensure that all shutdown activities are executed safely and efficiently.

Required Skills:

  • Mechanical trade qualifications
  • C Class Drivers Licence (MR preferred)
  • Current high-risk work licenses (Riggers, Fork, EWP)
  • Proficiency in SAP for notifications and time entries
  • Ability to complete plant inspections and raise notifications accurately
  • Strong understanding of isolation procedures for maintenance and operational tasks
  • Experience in completing quality handovers and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have Skills:

  • RTIO PPT/EII Permit/Isolation Officer certification
  • Confined space and Working at Heights certifications
  • MSIC (Marine Safety Identified Certification)
  • Experience working within port or offshore environments
Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Trade qualification in Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter
  • Prior experience in maintenance roles within port facilities or similar industrial settings
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely in high-risk environments and follow safety protocols
Other Requirements:

  • Valid MSIC and other relevant safety certifications
  • Ability to work on a residential roster, including working at heights and confined spaces
  • Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards
