Roster: Day Shift, Lifestyle roster
Rate:$58.05 per hour + super
Location:  Residential role - applicants must live in Gladstone or within safe commuting distance
Eligibility: Only applicants with full Australian working rights will be considered

About the Role
If you are a Boilermaker who thrives in a busy workshop and enjoys getting stuck into meaningful, hands on work, this role is for you. You will be part of the maintenance crew responsible for repairing and rebuilding essential plant equipment that keeps production running safely and efficiently at Boyne Smelters.
 
What You Will Do
• Carry out repairs and rebuilds in the fabrication workshop
• Perform aluminium and steel welding
• Complete gas cutting and aluminium lancing tasks
• Support safe, reliable operations in a smelter environment
 
What You Will Need
• Trade qualified Boilermaker
• Experience with aluminium and structural steel welding
• Competency in gas cutting and workshop servicing
• Strong safety record in heavy industry
• Physically capable of working in a hot, fast paced environment
• Current certifications including:
• White Card
• Confined Space and Working at Heights
• Welding qualifications (aluminium and steel)
• Gas Cutting competency
