Are you an experienced underground mining professional passionate about safety, efficiency, and precision? We are seeking a skilled Bogger Operator to play a vital role in delivering high-quality mining services. In this position, you'll be instrumental in excavating and developing underground ore bodies, ensuring optimal operations while adhering to safety standards. What You'll Do:
- Develop underground bodes and stockpiles, ensuring efficient material movement.
- Operate trucks at full efficiency, maintaining strict separation of ore, waste, and low-grade material.
- Bog out and clean faces, inspect for miss-fires, and notify shift supervisors accordingly.
- Use Tele-Remotes to perform remote bogging from open stopes.
- Transport materials from stockpiles and assist with other bogging duties as needed.
- Maintain tidy roads within the work area, preventing hazards such as pooling water.
- Perform manual and tele-remote bogging of production stopes to stockpiles to support continuous operations.
- Proven experience operating Sandvik, Cat, and Tele-Remote Boggers.
- Extensive knowledge of underground hard rock mining techniques, including watering, bogging, scaling, and trucking development.
- Strong understanding of underground mining industry practices and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a challenging environment.
- Additional experience with other mining equipment or remote operation technologies.
- Familiarity with underground ventilation or other mining support systems.
- Prior experience working in similar underground hard rock mining environments.
- Valid and current Manual Australian Drivers Licence.
- Valid National Police Clearance
- Right to work in Australia.
- Relevant qualifications, certificates, and licences for underground mining operations.
- Must be physically fit and capable of working in a demanding underground environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required.
