AO5 Project Support Officer – 2 Year Assignment | Hybrid
An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Support Officer to join a high-performing Program and Governance team supporting the delivery of a large regional infrastructure program.
This role provides high-level administrative, governance and operational support to senior program leadership and assists with the coordination, reporting and oversight of key project commitments.

Contract Details

  • Contract Duration: 2-year assignment
  • Start Date: 6 April 2026
  • End Date: 5 April 2028
  • Extension: Possible
  • Hourly Rate:$69.21 – $79.09 per hour
  • Work Model: Hybrid working arrangement
Key Responsibilities
  • Support compliance with governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of governance documentation including program overviews, status reports, meeting papers and briefing notes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to senior leadership including meeting coordination, agendas, papers and minutes.
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of project and program documentation such as reports, plans and presentations.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables to support program reporting.
  • Maintain project registers including risks, actions, issues and decisions.
  • Provide records management support and maintain documentation accuracy.
  • Monitor approved budgets, schedules and delivery against performance measures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience providing project or program support in a complex environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear documentation.
  • Understanding of project management principles and governance frameworks.

Desirable
  • Current Class C driver’s licence.
  • Experience supporting large infrastructure or capital delivery programs.
  • Previous experience working within structured project governance environments.
