An opportunity is available for an experienced AO3 Housing Support Officer to provide high-level business and administrative support within a regional housing team based in Maryborough.
This role contributes directly to supporting teacher attraction and retention in regional communities by ensuring employee housing records, documentation, and processes are accurately managed. You will play an important role in reducing administrative workload for Principals and Local Accommodation Committees (LACs) while supporting the smooth delivery of a regional pilot program.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Provide administrative support by preparing accurate tenancy and leasing documentation, correspondence, and maintaining housing records.
• Maintain accurate data and reporting within the Employee Housing System (EHS) and other systems, ensuring compliance and up-to-date records.
• Coordinate tenant entry and exit processes, schedule inspections, and manage routine property correspondence.
• Prepare legislatively required documentation in line with policy and compliance standards.
• Respond to enquiries from school staff, tenants, and stakeholders, escalating complex matters where required.
• Support program delivery through scheduling, travel coordination, and general logistical tasks.
• Prepare briefing notes, reports, and correspondence under general direction.
• Contribute to team objectives and assist with workflow coordination and support where required.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in business or administrative support within a government or corporate environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, briefing notes, and correspondence.
• Sound knowledge of office procedures and the ability to apply judgement and initiative in day-to-day operations.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and working within policy and compliance frameworks.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve operational outcomes.
