Rate:$60.99 + super (PAYG)

A local government organisation is seeking an experienced Advocacy & Communications Campaign Officer to help roll out endorsed advocacy priorities and associated communications.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver advocacy campaigns through digital content, media articles and social media
- Collaborate with videographers and publications staff to ensure campaign alignment
- Draft briefing notes and correspondence for MPs and stakeholders
- Maintain and update website advocacy content
- Report on advocacy outcomes and activities
- Proven experience in a communications team, ideally within local government
- Strong writing skills and confidence developing social media campaigns
- Good understanding of government relations and political environments
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and external partners
- Strong research, policy analysis and strategic thinking skills
- Business casual environment
