Employment Type: Agency assignment (up to 6 months)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Remuneration: $40.43ph (incl Casual Loading)
About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Administration Officer to support a busy Capital Works environment, assisting Civil and Community Infrastructure teams.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume administrative role where you will be responsible for managing enquiries, maintaining accurate system records, and supporting project administration activities across multiple work streams.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of information, documentation, and reporting processes, while maintaining strong attention to detail and data integrity across multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming enquiries and correspondence in a timely and professional manner
- Support administration and documentation processes across Capital Works projects
- Maintain accurate data and records across multiple systems and registers
- Assist with project tracking, reporting, and workflow coordination
- Create and process online requisitions as required
- Support document control, including registers and filing systems
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and service standards
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to support efficient service delivery
- Undertake general administrative duties to support infrastructure teams
You will bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Experience in a high-volume administrative or project support role (desirable)
- Exposure to infrastructure, construction, utilities, or government environments (advantageous)
- Enterprise systems (e.g. Authority or similar ERP platforms)
- Records management systems (e.g. TRIM / EDRMS)
- Microsoft Office 365 (especially Outlook and Excel)
