An immediate opportunity is available for a reliable Administration Officer to support a busy team in an office‑based role.
This position will suit someone with strong attention to detail, good customer service skills and the ability to confidently juggle multiple tasks.
About the Role This is a varied administrative role combining data entry, customer service and general office support.
You will be the first point of contact for phone and counter enquiries while ensuring accurate registration and processing of documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Register and process documentation accurately
- Data entry of building permit details
- Handle incoming phone calls and attend to counter enquiries at the customer service desk
- Assist the administration team with general support tasks
- Scan house plans and file building permit documentation
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proven data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Confident phone manner and customer‑focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Previous administration or customer service experience preferred
- Previous government organisation experience preferred
