This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of both end-to-end recruitment and onsite workforce management. Acting as the face of Chandler Macleod on site, you’ll be responsible for building a reliable workforce, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across multiple locations, while being anchored at a primary home site.
Working Monday to Friday, with flexibility required across early mornings and late afternoons, this role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing full-cycle recruitment, including workforce planning, sourcing, screening, and onboarding of high-volume blue-collar roles
- Developing and executing proactive recruitment strategies and workforce plans to meet fluctuating client demands
- Acting as the onsite lead, managing a large casual workforce across your home site and supporting additional client sites as required
- Monitoring, managing, and driving down absenteeism, ensuring workforce reliability and productivity targets are met
- Conducting toolbox talks, site inductions, and leading ongoing safety initiatives to promote a strong safety-first culture
- Building strong relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring high levels of engagement and retention
- Managing rosters, attendance, and shift coverage to support operational requirements
- Handling administrative responsibilities, maintaining accurate records, reporting, and compliance documentation
- Partnering closely with the client to understand operational needs, identify risks, and provide workforce solutions
- Continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance, and service delivery
- Proven experience in high-volume recruitment and/or onsite workforce management
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with a process-driven mindset
- Confidence in managing people, addressing performance issues, and influencing outcomes
