About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Works Delivery Coordinator to join our client's team on a full-time, 6-month contract based at their Geelong or Ballarat depots. This role has opened up due to a temporary ramp-up in workload and is an great opportunity to get hands-on experience managing field work dependencies, stakeholder communication, and process improvements in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Confirming and booking resources (internal & external) needed for planned field works
  • Managing dependencies to ensure works are dispatched on time and resolving any exceptions or re-bookings
  • Liaising with stakeholders to gain approval for variations and updates
  • Attaching or confirming field access documentation for activities
  • Monitoring post-work activities like reinstatements and reporting progress
  • Ensuring material availability and updating work programs effectively
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing and proposing process enhancements
  • Supporting new systems and project management tools to boost efficiency
  • Building strong relationships with field teams and key stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations
About You

The ideal candidate will bring solid experience managing field work dependencies within a utility or infrastructure environment, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. You’ll have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a knack for stakeholder management. Your communication skills will help you collaborate across teams effortlessly, and your ability to prioritise critical tasks will ensure project milestones are achieved on time.

Preferred qualifications and skills:

  • Successful completion of VCE or Certificate III in business administration
  • Experience managing field work dependencies and resources
  • Strong document management and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and good time management
  • Working knowledge of electricity distribution networks (design, operation)
  • Familiarity with SAP, ClickSchedule, and BI reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Adaptability to change and proactive in supporting process improvements
