Our client is pleased to offer two exciting opportunities for a passionate Works Delivery Coordinator: one for a 12- to 15-month casual maternity leave contract and another for a 12-month casual contract. Both roles are based out of their Brooklyn depot, where you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical works that keep Melbourne's homes and businesses powered daily. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and scheduling work for field execution with health, safety, and compliance as top priorities
- Coordinating work releases to ensure timely completion aligned with target dates
- Supporting a workplace culture focused on continuous improvement
- Negotiating with stakeholders to modify processes, systems, or project outcomes
- Supporting fault dispatch activities during emergency or escalated events to minimize unplanned customer outage durations
- Contributing to regular reporting and project progress reviews
- Maintaining and updating technical knowledge relevant to the role
- Strong knowledge of electricity transmission and distribution networks, including design principles
- Proven experience in scheduling and coordinating field works within the energy or utilities sector
- Advanced proficiency with SAP and other workforce management systems
- A good understanding of human resource principles and regulatory compliance issues (such as OHS, fatigue management, trainee management)
- Solid project management skills and familiarity with relevant tools and techniques
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
- Knowledge of network operations and emergency response procedures
- Technical qualifications such as an Advanced Diploma in ESI Power Systems or relevant trades
- Experience supporting process improvement initiatives in a utility environment
- A relevant technical diploma or trade qualification in electrical power systems
- Prior experience in distribution or transmission networks
- Demonstrated success in project coordination and stakeholder engagement
- This full-time role is based at our client's Brooklyn depot, working hours from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday
- Willingness to assist during emergency situations or faults
- Understanding of regulatory drivers and operational targets impacting performance
