Our Client is seeking a WHS Psychosocial Specialist to support the development and delivery of psychosocial hazard management initiatives within a broader Work Health and Safety framework. This role plays a key part in enhancing organisational safety culture, supporting risk assessments, and contributing to continuous improvement across WHS systems and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support projects focused on psychosocial hazard management.
  • Assist in developing WHS and Injury Management systems aligned with legislative requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide expert advice on business continuity and incident management.
  • Develop clear and effective safety procedures and operational documents.
  • Monitor performance against safety benchmarks and contribute to strategic planning.
About You:
You’re a proactive safety professional with:
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or senior experience in psychosocial safety or mental health risk management.
  • Clinical, healthcare, or psychological qualifications with 5+ years of workplace experience.
  • Strong project management and procedural writing skills.
  • Proven ability to foster a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
  • A current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.
Desirable:
  • Experience in local government or similar environments.
  • Additional qualifications in training, incident investigation, or return-to-work coordination.

  • High-level computer literacy and familiarity with WHS systems.
