Seeking a qualified and experienced WHS Management Consultant to drive compliance, strengthen safety culture, and lead a dedicated WHS team. The consultant will work closely with the Executive Manager People and Safety, the Leadership Team, and the WHS team to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and foster a positive safety culture.

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Provide strategic WHS advice and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Australian standards, and codes of practice.
  • Mentor and support an internal WHS team of three staff.
  • Assist with performance metrics and workload coordination.
Essential Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS (Diploma or Degree).
  • Proven experience in WHS management roles, ideally with exposure to quarry operations.
  • WHS Auditor qualification and/or experience in audit and compliance.
  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence and White Card.
Desirable
  • Membership eligibility with the Safety Institute of Australia.
  • Knowledge of Local Government WHS practices and frameworks.
