About the Role

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Fabrication Specialist to join the team on a full-time basis. Working closely with a Leading Hand, the successful candidate will be involved in fabricating trailers, security boxes, canopies, and other custom components.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate trailer chassis, security boxes, canopies, and similar structures using MIG welding techniques
• Assist with boiler making and TIG welding of aluminium (advantageous)
• Operate forklifts to handle materials safely (preferred but not essential)
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain high-quality workmanship
• Support team members and contribute to continuous improvement of processes

About You

• Boiler maker certification OR 5+ years’ proven welding experience
• Strong MIG welding skills; TIG welding of aluminium an advantage
• Knowledge of fabrication techniques, trailer, or heavy-duty structure building desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and follow safety protocols
• Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within a supportive environment
