Risk and Governance Officer (VPS3)

Hourly Rate:$50.05 – $60.77 per hour
Contract Duration: 13 November 2025 – 2 May 2026
Location: East Melbourne (Hybrid options may be considered)

We’re seeking an experienced Risk and Governance Officer to assist licensing and regulatory functions by providing advice, assessing applications, and supporting key enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide authoritative customer support via phone and email regarding regulatory requirements under National & Victorian laws.
• Assess and process licence applications, notifications, and compliance actions.
• Prepare operational reports and contribute to decision-making through analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Uphold the Victorian Public Sector Values while delivering excellent service.

About You:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experienced in interpreting legislation, policy, or regulatory frameworks.
• Capable of critical thinking and problem-solving in complex situations.
• Able to collaborate across teams with professionalism and empathy.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven communication and stakeholder management capability.
• Aptitude for policy interpretation and process delivery.
