Our client, a progressive local government in the Pilbara, is seeking an Urban Planning Coordinator to drive strategic and statutory planning outcomes across the region. While hybrid options are available, relocation to the Pilbara region is strongly preferred, with generous relocation support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support strategic and statutory planning projects.
• Provide expert advice on WA planning, land, heritage and environmental legislation.
• Manage Crown Land matters and prepare high-quality planning reports.
• Develop, implement and review planning policies, strategies and procedures.
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and deliver excellent customer service.

• Degree in Urban & Regional Planning (or equivalent).
• Highly developed understanding of WA town planning, land, heritage and environmental legislation.
• Strong experience developing, implementing and reviewing policies, strategies and procedures.
• Previous experience working within local government.
• Excellent report writing, stakeholder engagement and project management skills.

• Permanent residential role or two years fixed-term hybrid arrangement.
• Up to $10,000 relocation assistance.
