Roster: FIFO 8:6-7:7

Payrate: $65 - $75/Hr.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of fixed plant equipment, specifically crushers (jaw, cone, impact), conveyors (belt systems, drives, rollers, pulleys), and ore handling systems
• Strong troubleshooting and breakdown repair capabilities
• Skilled in replacing bearings, belts, pulleys, rollers, and aligned mechanical components
• Competence in welding and fabrication work
• Ability to conduct safety inspections, statutory checks, and keep detailed maintenance records
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling, and compressed air systems
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working underground in a fixed plant environment
• Knowledge of PLCs and control systems
• Certification in confined space, working at heights, or other relevant safety qualifications
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Prior experience with preventative maintenance programs and asset management systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in underground fixed plant maintenance within the mining industry
• Exposure to processing plant equipment and infrastructure such as water supply and dewatering lines, ventilation, and hydraulic systems

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work underground at fixed locations such as crusher stations, pump stations, and conveyor drives
• Commit to safety procedures and statutory compliance
• Flexibility to work shifts or overtime as required
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to work in remote, underground environments
