Are you a skilled Auto Electrician passionate about maintaining and repairing heavy-duty Underground Mobile Equipment? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our onsite maintenance team, providing top-tier electrical and air conditioning services in the dynamic mining industry. Your expertise will ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently, supporting the success of operational projects while prioritizing safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- Proven experience working on heavy-duty Underground Mobile Equipment such as CAT, Atlas Copco, Sandvik, and others
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and spare parts documentation
- Skilled in diagnosing equipment failures using diagnostic tools and conducting effective repairs
- Knowledge of vehicle air conditioning systems and their maintenance requirements
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to complete service sheets accurately and communicate effectively with team members
- Experience in working with multiple equipment brands and models
- Familiarity with workshop tools and maintenance procedures
- Additional certifications or training in advanced diagnostics or specific equipment systems
- Valid Australian Trade Qualification as an Auto Electrician (essential)
- Current Australian manual driver’s licence (C-Class minimum)
- Prior experience in the mining or heavy industry sector is highly advantageous
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all HS&E policies and procedures
- Willingness to perform pre-start checks, tools inspections, and equipment diagnostics
- Commitment to high standards of housekeeping and safety compliance at all times
