We are seeking an experienced
Training and Development Coordinator to lead tailored training delivery and support digital adoption across a major federal government agency. This role is a full time 12 month temporary contract with potential extension and can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or ACT.
In this role, you’ll be part of a change-focused team that drives business readiness and capability uplift across a broad range of projects and initiatives. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, project teams, and business stakeholders to assess training needs, build engaging content, and deliver practical learning experiences that support transformation success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs analysis and collaborate on solutions with stakeholders
- Design and deliver training programs (virtual or face-to-face) that support the adoption of new technologies
- Create clear and user-friendly training materials including guides, videos, and quick reference tools
- Support broader change initiatives by ensuring training aligns with project goals and schedules
- Engage with project teams to stay across system changes and ensure up-to-date learning support
- Report on training effectiveness and gather feedback to ensure continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience delivering effective training or technical instruction
- Skilled at making complex technical information simple and accessible
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative change environment
- Experienced in full training lifecycle – from needs assessment to evaluation
- Confident working with diverse audiences and tailoring learning experiences accordingly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
