Traineeship Opportunity – Rail Central Admin Team (Karratha)

We are offering an excellent opportunity for two motivated Karratha residents
to join our Rail Central Administration Team on a 12-month traineeship. This program combines hands-on experience with completing a Certificate III in Business, setting you up for a successful career.
About the Role
- Location: 7 Mile, Dampier
- Contract: ,12-month fixed term
- Pay Rate:$20 per hour + superannuation
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Study: Paid Cert III in Business through Karratha TAFE
- Study Time: TAFE Wednesdays + 2-hour online tutorial Mondays
- Client: Tier 1 Mining Company
- Follow all Health & Safety standards and report hazards
- Manage incoming calls, emails and visitor queries
- Deliver professional and friendly customer service
- Issue gate access cards, Rail Access Keys, IVMS keys and fuel fobs
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices
- Manage CRM portal accounts
- Coordinate catering orders and deliveries
- Book Rail medical appointments
- Bulk scan maintenance service requests
- Process Prescription Safety Glasses orders
- Assist with Rail events throughout the year
- Use Sodexo Portal for maintenance notifications
- Manage stock ordering and unload deliveries
- Completed Year 12
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Curiosity to learn and share knowledge
- Safety-first mindset
- Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence
- Paid study and nationally recognised qualification
