Train Drivers 

We’re seeking experienced Train Drivers to join a major mining operation in Weipa. You will support safe and efficient rail freight operations on site. On offer is a 4-Month Contract (Possible Extension) 7/7 roster with flights & camp provided

What’s on Offer

Key Duties

• Operate locomotives safely in line with rail and site procedures
• Change rail switches as required
• Hose down ore wagons
• Conduct routine checks and inspections
• Complete rail-related general duties

About You

• Certificate IV in Train Driving
• Current Category 1 Rail Medical
• Able to pass medical, drug & alcohol checks
• Safety-focused and adaptable to remote work

Desirable

• GL class locomotive experience
• Mining or heavy rail background
