Telehandler/LF

We are currently seeking applications from Telehandler Operators for a role with our client specialising in the production and distribution of animal feed, located in Adelaide's western suburbs, commencing ASAP on a casual or permanent basis with ongoing work available. Working hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm with availability required for infrequent weekend work. The ideal candidate will come from a distribution, warehousing or industrial background, with strong experience operating telehandlers and forklifts in fast-paced environments, along with a positive and hard-working attitude.

Duties will include:

• Operation of telehandler and forklift for loading and unloading trucks
• Entering and processing delivery dockets and similar paperwork
• Washing crates in an industrial washer
• General housekeeping and tidiness

To be successful for this opportunity you will ideally have:

• RIIHAN309F – Conduct telescopic materials handler operations ticket
• LF forklift licence
• Experience operating non-slewing telehandlers, minimum 3-ton vehicle
• Experience operating forklifts in a distribution background, with oversized loads
• Experience with distribution processes and inventory
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Comfortable working alone
• Ability to pass a full medical and national police clearance
• Availability to work 7:00am-3:00pm shifts, with availability for infrequent weekend work
• Reliable car and licence
• Full working rights and availability
• Proven reliability and work ethic
