Telehandler Operator

Chandler Macleod is thrilled to partner with Beon Energy Solutions, a prominent leader in the design, construction, and commissioning of large-scale solar farms across Australia.

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Solar Farm Telehandler Operators (CN Licensed) for the Quorn Park Hybrid Solar Project near Parkes, NSW.. This exciting opportunity is slated to commence in August 2025.

About the Role

• Employment Duration: Approximately 6 months
• Hourly rate: $40/h + super + overtime
• Working Hours Mo-Sat - 56h/week

 
Key Responsibilities

• Assisting Labourers with erecting and mounting tubular frames and solar panels packs
• Lifting, relocating and restock of materials as they arrive to site
• Daily pre-start checks for machines.
• Moving & relocating materials & supplies or lifting gear in the field and loading and unloading of trucks.
• Please note that this position includes also physical duties and manual handling supporting Labourers onsite.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid HRWL -CN Crane/Telehandler ticket
• Experience operating a Telehandler  
• Must hold Construction Induction Card
• Construction/ Assembly experience preferred
• Previous exposure to mobile plant environment
• Pre-employment Mobility Assessment
• Drug & Alcohol screening
