Technicians Assistant

Location:  Waratah NSW
Contract Length:  6 Months (Potential for Extension)
Working Pattern:  9‑Day Fortnight
Police Check:  Required

About the Role
Our client is seeking two motivated Technicians Assistants  to support construction and maintenance activities across traffic facilities, sites, and systems. These positions play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient operations through hands-on, non‑trade support duties. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong manual labour skills, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to work in a dynamic outdoor environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Safely carry out all non‑trade duties to support construction and maintenance work.
• Perform a variety of manual labouring tasks using both powered and non‑powered small plant and hand tools.
• Work independently or within a team environment to complete assigned tasks.
• Conduct safety checks on plant and equipment, perform essential maintenance such as fluid checks and refuelling, and maintain accurate records.
• Apply knowledge of WHS legislation, policies, and procedures to assess and control risks and model safe work behaviour.

• MR Licence
• White Card
• Demonstrated experience performing routine and complex manual labour tasks
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain compliance documentation

• HR Licence (highly regarded)
• Willingness to undertake any additional internal or legislated licences or tickets as required

• Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 3:15pm
• 9‑Day Fortnight
