Technical Writer / Project Analyst
Perth CBD | 12-Month Contract
Rate:$49.10 – $73.85 + Super (depending on experience)
Roster:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible Hours)
Join a Global Asset Management Systems Team and play a key role in supporting project deployment and change management across a world-class organisation.
We’re seeking a Technical Writer / Project Analyst with a passion for clear communication, system documentation, and maintenance excellence.
In this role, you’ll develop, revise, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including Master Data Standards, EAM tools, REX tools, user guides, training materials, and change management packs. You’ll work closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with Asset Management best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, training guides, process flows, and communication packs.
- Produce documentation for various audiences (administrators, planners, technicians, supervisors).
- Support the Asset Management Leadership Team with project updates and reports.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Assist with maintenance systems product backlog documentation and deployment support.
- Tertiary qualification or 5+ years’ experience in Technical Writing, Asset Management, Business Analysis, EAM/CMMS systems, or Project Management.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle EAM, Maximo, Infor, or JDE highly regarded.
- Exposure to Planning & Scheduling tools such as Viziya or Prometheus desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
- Experience with large-scale system deployments, upgrades, and change management.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and critical thinking ability.
