We are partnering with a long-standing and well-respected food manufacturer in Queensland. Known for their innovation, strong values, and commitment to quality, this regional success story is looking to expand their team with an experienced Supply Chain Officer.
This role is central to ensuring the smooth flow of customer orders from planning through to delivery, while maintaining high service standards across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end process of order planning, dispatch, and freight coordination
- Monitor delivery performance (DIFOT) and provide accurate reporting
- Manage inventory with regular stocktakes, spot checks, and discrepancy investigations
- Process goods receipts and delivery dockets using ERP systems (SAP advantageous)
- Maintain organised electronic and physical records
- Engage closely with freight providers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in freight management, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Strong computer literacy (Office 365 required, ERP experience preferred)
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, professional approach with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
