Are you a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with a passion for leading large-scale capital projects? We are seeking a dynamic Study Manager - Mechanical to spearhead the front-end engineering phases of a significant chemical plant expansion in Kwinana in Perth’s South. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape critical project stages from initiation through concept development, driving innovative solutions and engaging with a wide network of stakeholders. If you thrive in technically challenging environments and possess a strong background in EPCM, refinery, or process plant projects, we want to hear from you!

What We Need From You:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• Senior-level experience (10+ years) in technical project management within the process industry
• Experience in chemical plant expansions or similar industrial upgrades preferred
• Knowledge of power generation systems such as boilers, turbines, and generators
• Proven ability to oversee project initiation, DE, FEED, and transition stages
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Technical expertise in process plants, EPCM projects, or refinery operations
• Familiarity with front-end project development and concept design
• Ability to work on-site at CSBP Kwinana, with one day per week WFH flexibility
• Availability to start as soon as possible, with a contract duration of 6 to 12 months
• Willingness to engage in extensive stakeholder consultation and early project development activities
