Student Engineer (Civil) - Asset Management

Join a South Coast Asset Management team as a Student Engineer and kick-start your engineering career. Client: Government transport agency
Location: Nerang, Gold Coast
Business Unit: Infrastructure Construction & Maintenance
Engagement: Casual (Part-time 2–3 days during semester, Full-time during uni holidays)
Contract Dates: 9th Feb 2026 – 7th Aug 2026 (Potential 3 x 12-month extensions)


Role Highlights:

• Support the Asset Management team under the supervision of a Senior Engineer
• Investigate road asset conditions using 'big data' analytics
• Contribute to maintenance planning to enhance road safety and efficiency
• Prepare technical reports and communicate with stakeholders
• Get involved in meaningful projects that support regional road infrastructure development

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of a Bachelor of Engineering or similar
• Enthusiastic about infrastructure, data analysis, and problem-solving
• Reliable, with the ability to commit to working in Nerang for the duration of the contract
