Warehouse Storeperson - Afternoon Shift

Location: Canberra ACT
Employment Type: Casual
Shift: Afternoon - start may be from 2pm and finishing anywhere between 10pm-1am depending on volume of work. Overtime available
Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, pick, and cross-check customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Apply correct stock rotation principles at all times, following the First In, First Out rule.
• Ensure any stock returned by drivers is promptly placed back into appropriate bin locations or designated damaged/low-code areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Maintaining accurate records and data entry

Key Competencies, Skills, and Qualifications

• Physical Capability: Able to safely load and unload containers and delivery vehicles.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when picking and packing orders.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination with dispatch 
• Adaptability: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to WHS guidelines.

Desirable Attributes

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or pick-packing roles.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and handheld scanning devices.
• Forklift license (ideal, not requirement)

Successful candidates will need to complete a pre employment physical and Police Check prior to commencing
