Job Title: Stock Hand
 
Location:  Angaston, SA
 
About the Role:  Are you looking to enter the agriculture industry? We have a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Farm Hand to join our client’s team in Angaston. This dynamic and diverse role involves working hands-on with chickens and roosters, performing a variety of farm tasks. Starting times may vary, and weekend work will be required. This role is best suited for candidates living around the Gawler area or Angaston and is available for immediate start.
 
Please note this position is 5 days a week with occasional weekend work.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• General farm labour.
• Basic farm maintenance.
• Floor walking and egg collection.
• Cleaning out sheds and roosts.
• Administering vaccinations.

 
Requirements:
 

• Must not live or have regular contact with any birds or pigs due to quarantine requirements.
• Willing to work with live birds.
• Able to perform continuous manual handling, up to 20kgs.
• Excellent physical fitness to sustain a repetitive, physical role.
• Own vehicle and current driver's license.
• Positive, energetic, and hardworking attitude.
• Strong focus on safety and good knowledge of safe work practices.
