Steggles Shop Supervisor

Chandler Macleod is seeking a Shop Supervisor to support the team at the Steggles Shop, Sydney.
 
Passionate about producing premium-quality poultry products, the makers of  Lilydale Free Range  and  Steggles, have been bringing Australian families together at the dinner table since 1919! Leading the industry through innovation, providing fresh poultry to local retailers and offering value-added products to Quick Service Restaurants and food service customers. Their commitment to high standards of process and efficiency ensures millions of top-quality products are delivered every year.

About the role
You will be responsible for:

• Overseeing daily shop operations including opening/closing procedures
• Supporting a small team of retail staff
• Ensuring excellent customer service and resolve any customer issues
• Managing stock levels, rotation, and ordering
• Maintaining cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
• Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately
• Assisting with rostering and basic reporting

About you  
As the Shop Supervisor, you will:

• Possess a strong knowledge of Steggles’ retail products and a comprehensive understanding of Baiada guidelines (preferred)
• Have previous retail experience 
• Demonstrate leadership skills and a business-oriented mindset
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be customer-focused, passionate about delivering excellent service
• Possess money-handling skills and basic mathematical abilities
• Be well-organised and efficient
• Have unlimited Australian working rights
