We are currently seeking applications from Telehandler Operators for a Site Leader role with our client specialising in the production and distribution of animal feed, located in Adelaide's western suburbs, commencing ASAP on a permanent or casual basis with ongoing work available. Working hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm with availability required for infrequent weekend work. The ideal candidate will come from a distribution, warehousing or industrial background, with strong experience operating telehandlers and forklifts in fast-paced environments, along with a positive and hard-working attitude.

Duties will include:

  • Operation of telehandler and forklift for loading and unloading trucks
  • Conduct pre-operations procedures and maintain accurate daily production records
  • Prepare and produce orders correctly to meet customer delivery times
  • Process delivery dockets and related paperwork
  • Maintain clean working environment and follow OH&S procedures
  • Equipment care and liaison with transport companies
To be successful for this opportunity you will ideally have:
  • RIIHAN309F – Conduct telescopic materials handler operations ticket
  • LF forklift licence with experience operating non-slewing telehandlers (minimum 3-ton)
  • Distribution/warehousing experience with inventory processes
  • Strong numeracy, literacy and safety awareness
  • Mechanically minded with maintenance experience
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working alone
  • Ability to pass full medical, police clearance, and Drug & Alcohol check
  • Reliable transport, full working rights and proven work ethic
