This opportunity is offered for an immediate start until 31 January 2026. This is a FIFO position offered on an 8:6: 7:7 (Days and Nights)

About the role
As a Shotfirer, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient blasting operations by:
- Safely conducting blasting operations in accordance with site procedures and regulatory standards
- Handling explosives and initiating blasts with precision and care
- Conducting pre-blast inspections and post-blast assessments
- Collaborating with drill and blast teams to ensure efficient production
- Maintaining accurate records and compliance with all safety protocols
- Ensuring housekeeping of magazines, magazine compounds, explosive vehicles and work areas are kept to high levels
- Current Shotfirer Licence/Authorisation
- Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
- Valid Manual Driver’s Licence – C class
- Experience with operating MPU – stem trucks is a bonus
- HR licence is a bonus
- Experience with Dyno Nobel firing systems is a bonus
- Previous experience in open-cut mining operations
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Strong communication skills and ability to work safely, collaboratively, and independently
- Full Australian working rights required
