About the Role

As a Freight Forwarding Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating freight operations, managing documentation, liaising with carriers, and ensuring shipments are delivered on time and in full. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and logistics partners to solve problems and keep cargo moving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end‑to‑end freight forwarding activities (air, sea, road, and/or rail)
  • Prepare and review shipping documents including bills of lading, manifests, and customs declarations
  • Communicate regularly with carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, and clients
  • Track shipments and provide timely status updates
  • Resolve freight delays, discrepancies, and service issues
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company standards
  • Maintain accurate records and support invoicing and cost control
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years’ experience in freight forwarding
  • IATA Dangerous good qualified or knowledge of
  • Strong understanding of import/export processes and relevant regulations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with freight management systems or logistics software (desirable)
