About the RolesA leading State Government Agency is seeking two experienced finance professionals for 6‑month contract roles. These positions will provide both operational and strategic financial support, ensuring resources are effectively managed and aligned with government priorities.

Senior Finance Business Partner

• Deliver financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide modelling, cost-benefit analysis, and compliance reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders to turn financial data into actionable insights.
• Requirements: Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics, CPA/CA preferred, strong management accounting and analysis skills, public sector experience desirable.

Principal Finance Business Partner

• Lead the finance partnering function and provide strategic advice to executives.
• Drive long-term financial planning, governance, and risk management.
• Mentor Senior Finance Business Partners and represent finance in cross-agency forums.
• Requirements: Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics, CPA/CA essential, extensive senior leadership experience, strong knowledge of public sector finance.
