About the role
This full-time position plays a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the aquatic facility. You will oversee pool supervision, water quality, staff training, rostering, customer engagement, while ensuring the centre operates safely, efficiently and in line with industry standards. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys leading by example.
 

Duties

  • Coordinate daily pool operations, including water quality, supervision and plant room functions
  • Lead, train and support lifeguard staff to ensure safe and professional service delivery
  • Manage rostering according to skills and training
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist with reception or general staff duties as required
  • Develop, deliver and/ or facilitate education initiatives & specific training targeted at the needs of Life guards
 
Skills and Experience
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate and demonstrated experience in aquatic facility operations
  • Strong knowledge of plant room operations, water quality management and maintenance procedures
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on your feet for prolonged periods in a fast-paced environment
  • NSW WWCC & National Police Check (or ability to obtain); Pool Operations Certificate highly regarded
