We’re partnering with a well-established global business in the apparel space to find an experienced Senior Inventory & Demand Planner to join their close-knit Brisbane team. With a strong retail footprint and a growing e-commerce presence, this business requires someone who can confidently manage end-to-end planning across a large SKU base.
You’ll take ownership of forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain coordination across multiple national distribution centres. Working closely with product, sales, marketing, and logistics, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring optimal stock levels, timely deliveries, and a well-balanced range that meets demand while minimising surplus.
This is a full-function planning role where you'll contribute to continuous improvement and play a key part in the supply chain’s overall performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecast customer demand based on historical sales and market trends
- Manage inventory levels across national DCs and retail locations
- Raise and track purchase orders with both local and offshore suppliers
- Drive stock optimisation through effective planning and replenishment
- Manage internal transfers and support new product launches
- Provide data insights and reporting on inventory, performance, and supplier metrics
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and operational efficiency
- Identify and implement improvements across the planning function
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years’ experience in inventory or demand planning, preferably within apparel or consumer goods
- Proven experience working across high-volume SKU environments
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis)
- ERP experience – SAP or similar highly regarded
- Comfortable working independently within a small, high-performing team
- Strong communication skills and commercial acumen
- Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
