Our client, a leading ASX listed organisation, is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager /Senior Financial Accountant to join their high-performing finance team based in Pinkenba. This is a hands-on senior finance role and ideal for someone who thrives in complex or transitional environments. You’ll work alongside two Senior Management Accountants and an Assistant Accountant, supporting the financials with exceptional accuracy and timely month-end delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Month-end processing: reconcile data, prepare and post journals in system
  • Manage cost and revenue accruals and maintain reconciliation files
  • Oversee fixed asset register, depreciation, additions, and disposals
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and remedial actions
  • Handle intercompany journals and reconciliations
  • Manage stock/inventory reconciliations
  • Prepare BAS for review
  • Conduct P&L reviews with BU managers for completeness and accuracy
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Support group balance sheet review and respond to queries

What we're looking for
  • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or Management Accountant
  • Strong track record in month-end close, reconciliations, and compliance
  • Hands-on approach with willingness to support across finance tasks
  • Experience in contracting or transformation environments (highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with multi-entity structures and light consolidations
  • Vision system knowledge preferred (not essential)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with accountability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – collaborative and process-minded
