Senior Environmental Advisor

We are looking for a Senior Environmental Advisor to join a leading port and heavy industry organisation on a 3-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead environmental compliance, manage projects, and drive sustainability initiatives in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage environmental projects, including scoping, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Conduct environmental audits, inspections, and reporting under legislation, licences, and approvals.
• Analyse and manage environmental data to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and deliver environmental training, inductions, and awareness programs.
• Maintain and improve the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental management, preferably in ports, heavy industry, or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, policies, and compliance standards.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and reporting skills.
