A great opportunity for a Senior Digital Media Producer to join this busy team on a 12-month assignment.
About the role:
- Lead the planning, management and delivery of end-to-end video productions, including concurrent projects with competing priorities, with a focus on creating social media first content.
- Provide strategic and creative advice on video content to meet organisational objectives and audience expectations.
- Supervise, mentor and guide junior staff, contractors and suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality and accessible video content.
- Oversee technical and creative production requirements, including quality assurance for filming, editing, motion graphics, accessibility features and digital distribution.
- Manage governance processes including briefs, approvals, workflows, reporting and evaluation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, senior leaders and external production partners.
- Support the Assistant Director to manage team capacity, contractor engagement, and digital media systems.
- Ensure compliance with the Agency brand guidelines, accessibility requirements (captions, transcripts, Auslan), and government communication standards.
Essential criteria
- You will demonstrated leadership in delivering complex video projects in a government or large organisational environment, with a focus on social media outputs.
- You will have high-level technical knowledge of video production workflows and software, with the ability to oversee quality and provide guidance.
- You will have proficiency in the Adobe Creative suit including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition and Media Encoder.
- You will have detailed understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2, visual accessibility requirements

- $60.26 Hourly + Super
