About the role:
Data Management and Governance
- Oversee end-to-end data management processes, including data creation, maintenance, analysis, and distribution.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits, error detection, and defined correction procedures.
- Manage globally controlled master data elements and ensure alignment with enterprise applications.
- Establish and maintain data standards, business rules, and security specifications, including data retention criteria.
Data Analysis and Modellin
- Evaluate, define, and integrate data from multiple operational systems to support business intelligence and decision-making.
- Develop and document conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring consistency with organisational standards.
- Provide technical data modelling support across project build, testing, and implementation phases.
- Resolve data integration and quality issues within your area of expertise.
Business Improvement and Strategic Support
- Contribute to business and people planning by developing strategies that improve performance and efficiency.
- Identify and implement improvements, best practices, and process optimisations in data management activities.
- Conduct cost analyses, prepare reports, and produce corporate and technical documentation for senior or executive review.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, deliver projects effectively, and ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
Governance and Decision-Making
- Exercise sound judgement and appropriate delegation in accordance with policies, legislation, and governance frameworks.
- Escalate issues where necessary and propose alternative approaches to support continuous improvement and operational success.
About you:
- You will have extensive experience in data modelling and design DTAN - Level 4
- You will have Programming/software development PROG - Level 2
- You will have Business intelligence BINT - Level 2
- You will have Data visualisation VISL - Level 3
Ability to:
Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Think strategically, assess impacts, analyse data objectively, and make sound, evidence-based decisions.
Leadership and Team Management: Supervise, guide, and develop staff capability; lead teams to achieve quality outcomes; and support others through change and uncertainty.
Stakeholder and Relationship Management: Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, understand expectations, and manage conflict appropriately.
Planning and Prioritisation: Establish clear work plans and timeframes, manage competing priorities, and deliver results collaboratively.
Communication and Adaptability: Communicate clearly and appropriately for different audiences, work independently under limited direction, and adapt to changing circumstances.
Benefits:

- 6 Months assignment with possibility to be extended
- Full time hours Monday to Friday

- $60 to $70 hourly + Super
